    Electric line maintenance will be underway that will affect Bunting Ln and East Pearl St residents from approximately 9am-10am CST. The power will be out for approximately 30-60 minutes if everything goes smooth. The purpose of this maintenance is to address a line issue in a tough-to-reach area that has been causing increased outages recently. Please plan accordingly.

    A thunderstorm came through and caused lines to be twisted together \(too close\) within trees on Bunting Ln.

    The Village is experiencing power outages in areas. We are looking into the matter and/or staff is working on the issue including other service providers that feed the Village. Outage cause could be within the Village, through Jackson Electric, further down the line, or another issue. We will update as soon as possible. If you are in need of medical attention as a result of the power outage and it is an emergency, please call 911.

    Jackson Electric had an outage impacting the Village until approximately 1PM, total outage lasted around 75 minutes. Additionally after the power was restored by Jackson Electric, the Village had an outage on Bunting Ln and Lower Lake that was resolved within an hour - 3PM-4PM.

    Major storms rolled through the area resulting in some trees down, including one on the feeder line from Jackson Electric. Additional restoration was necessary on their end resulting in an extended outage which was restored at approximately 11:20 PM CST. The Village itself did not have any major damage, but did have some trees on lines on Bunting Ln/Beach Dr which were quickly removed.
